Betropolis ("Betropolis," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Betropolis (operator details pending verification), provides a sports-themed mobile game and related website at playbetropolis.com. This Privacy Policy explains which information the app and website process, why it is used, and how players can request deletion or exercise privacy rights.

1. Information we collect

Account and authentication information

When you create an account, we process information such as your email address, username or display name, account ID, account settings, sign-in provider and information needed to authenticate you. If you choose a supported third-party sign-in method, that provider may share limited identity information needed to sign you in. Betropolis does not request your Google or Apple account password.

Gameplay and profile information

We maintain your franchise profile, card and coach collections, lineups, buildings, game progression, Arena matches, playcalling choices, results, rankings where offered, resource balances and reward histories. Depending on features enabled, other players may see your public display name, team identity, results or competitive ranking.

Technical and support information

Our systems and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, device or operating-system details, app version, sign-in events, connection records, security logs and diagnostic information as needed to operate and protect the service. If you contact us, we process your message, contact details and information necessary to address your request. Additional analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, if later enabled, must be disclosed in an updated version of this policy.

2. How we use information

We use this information to create and protect accounts, operate gameplay, preserve progress, calculate results and rewards, record in-game transactions, deliver necessary service emails, prevent cheating and abuse, troubleshoot issues, respond to support inquiries, and comply with applicable obligations.

3. Virtual resources, purchases and sports-related features

Betropolis tracks the following virtual resources and their associated balances and transactions:

• Bucks: Earned through eligible game activities, passive building generation and, where available, successful simulated sports wagers. Bucks may be used for standard card packs, building upgrades and simulated wagers.
• Hype: An optional premium currency intended for eligible Battle Pass content, special card packs and account customization. It cannot be directly exchanged for Bucks or used to upgrade or accelerate Bucks-producing buildings.
• Stamina: A gameplay resource used to enter eligible matches, including Arena.
• Cores: A resource used exclusively to upgrade city buildings.

These resources have no cash-redemption value. If simulated sports wagering is enabled, winning wagers award Bucks only. We may record the selected event and market, virtual stake, displayed odds, result and settlement details. Sportsbook availability is subject to legal and platform review and may be restricted or disabled.

If real-money in-app purchases are offered, an authorized platform payment provider may process payments. We may receive limited purchase status and identifiers required to deliver in-app items, handle support requests and prevent fraud. We do not need full payment-card details to grant virtual items.

4. Services that process information

Providers used to support Betropolis may include Supabase (authentication, database and server functions), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (website delivery and security), and Google (Google Fonts for website typography and, where enabled, Google sign-in or app distribution) or Apple (sign-in or distribution where enabled). When this site loads Google Fonts, your browser may connect to Google and disclose technical request details including your IP address. Additional game-hosting, payment or diagnostics providers must be confirmed and added to this policy before they process players' data.

5. Sharing and publicly visible information

We share information with providers to perform services on our behalf, where required by law, to respond to legitimate security or fraud concerns, or as otherwise described when a specific feature is enabled. Competitive features may show limited profile and game details to other players. Any advertising, targeted marketing, or sale/sharing practices must be separately verified and disclosed before launch if applicable.

6. Security and data retention

We use authentication, encrypted connections, access controls and server-side validation intended to help protect player information and gameplay balances. No system can guarantee perfect security. We retain account and game information while it is needed to provide the service and, where justified, for reasonable security, support or legal purposes. Backups may temporarily retain deleted information until their normal expiration. Specific log, backup and deletion timelines are pending confirmation.

7. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Betropolis account and associated personal data without needing to reinstall the app. Visit our Account Deletion page for the request method and verification steps. We will delete or de-identify account information and associated game progress unless retention is necessary for legitimate purposes such as security, dispute resolution or legal requirements. The exact fulfillment timeframe must be confirmed before publication.

8. Children and teenagers

Betropolis is intended for users 13 years of age and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not intend to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we collected such information improperly, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. We aim to limit data collected from teenage players to information reasonably necessary to operate the service, and we will apply additional safeguards where required. Simulated sports-wagering features may be withheld pending policy and legal review.
